Majalah New York Magazine, mengklaim mendapatkan salinan file dari orang dalam di lingkungan CIA. "Dengan bantuan superkomputer yang kami beli beberapa tahun lalu seharga US$ 3 miliar (sekitar Rp25,6 triliun), kami berhasil mengkategorikan data-data di hardware milik Osama dalam sebuah diagram,"

Dari hasil temuan majalah itu, porsi terbesar dari data yang disimpan (34 persen) adalah file berkategori pornografi di sebuah folder yang berlabel 'Old Tax Forms'. Setelah itu, NYMag mengklaim data terbanyak lainnya adalah rekaman drama seri The Wire, dengan porsi sebesar 21 persen.

Porsi terbesar berikutnya adalah file-file MP3 yang diunduh oleh anak-anak Osama, yakni 15 persen. Baru setelah itu terdapat data-data internal organisasi Al-Qaida (14 persen), meliputi nama-nama, nama-nama samaran, info kontak, bahkan informasi mengenai sejumlah alergi yang diidap oleh anggota Al-Qaida.

Yang menarik, NYMag juga mengungkap adanya data-data rekaman Osama saat tengah menuruni sebuah bukit dan menembakkkan senjata AK-47, serta data-data berisi buku memoar Osama yang belum dipublikasikan, berjudul "Bin There, Done That".
