The ultimate version of Street Fighter makes its seamless transition to the Nintendo 3DS with Super Street Fighter IV: 3D Edition. The console experience is now in the palm of your hand with rich new features that utilize the capabilities of the Nintendo 3DS to its fullest. Packed with 35 playable characters, bonus stages and cinematic Ultra combos, Super Street Fighter IV: 3D Edition expands the action by allowing you to fight your friends around the world using Wi-Fi. New to the franchise are the figurine mode, which utilizes the Street Pass feature to add a collectible meta-game, and the 3D over-the-shoulder camera option that takes fighting to new depths. For those new to the franchise, a simple mode has been added allowing players to pull off challenging moves with a single touch of the screen
So lets jump into a 2D video review and check out the 3D action.
So let's jump into those scores quickly.
The gameplay aspect of this incarnation of Street Fighter remains true to all previous no need to fix something if it aint broke so the big part is the extras, with online play via wi-fi and the chance to play your friends even if they dont have the game the chances for fun are endless and streetpass features really add an extra bit of excitement to that normally boring walk round a crowded station with the chance to find a new challenger or figurine great stuff.
The Nintendo 3DS shows off its capabilities in Street Fighter IV with a dynamic view made specifically for 3D use! It really shines as a great launch title with graphics that rival any handheld version made previous.
It's difficult to put out a review on the sound of Street Fighter as it sounds exactly the same as even its Xbox 360 and PS3 console brothers, it's all there.
Fun Factor: 8
Street Fighter is usually just that, it's Street Fighter, but with all the added features including online play, streetpass, even the collectable figurines, Street Fighters' 3D incarnation makes for superb mobile battles and delivers it all in crisp 3D that never lets down.
What are your thoughts did you get Street Fighter IV as your launch title what are your thoughts?
